Idk, it feels the most satisfying to shoot in the whole game. Like you're surrounded, and you just whip out the giant ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ revolver and go Guido Mista on those sons of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I like it.
worst gun probaly the basic shotgun
Charge weapons are slow, but there is nothing preventing you from charging it before entering a room and just firing it at the baddest baddie in the room for an easy kill (early game, at least) right off the bat.
Lil' Bomber, like most guns, is not meant to be a 'stand-alone' gun. Blast something to weaken it then switch to a different gun.
When choosing 'the worst' gun, there are a number of things to consider (at least, I like to consider). Some guns are extremely useful against bosses (Morning Star, for instance) but horrible in a standard room while with others, the opposite is true. A gun's rarity should also be considered as a major factor.
With this line of thinking, I would say that the Meghand is one of the best (if not THE best) gun. 200 ammo, super fast reload (although, its clip (or is it a magazine?) is so large that you shouldn't need to reload until a room is cleared most times), and it can one-shot just about everything up to the 4th floor, and even beyond there are still some Gundead it can one-shot. Plus, it is only a B rank gun, so it is not uncommon to get. I think they should move the Megahand up to S or at least A rank (and lower its damage/increase its charge time) Of course, it is not too useful against bosses.
I also find the Fossilized Gun to be rather exceptional; one of my favorite rank D guns. I would choose it over many B or A ranked guns.
The worst gun, keeping the above things in mind, in my opinion would be... it's actually hard to choose. In my opinion, there are a number of terrible guns that many might think are "good" (in no particular order).
Microtransaction Gun (weak, random bullets and it costs money!) (rank A)
Unicorn Horn (rank A)
In fact, now that I think about it, most "stream" guns are just plain bad.
Thunderclap (too weak; should be rank C) (rank A)
Vulcan Cannon (not very useful in rooms, way too weak; you can unload almost the whole clip into a boss and they still don't die; needs damage boost) (rank S)
Heck Blaster (other than checking for blankable walls, this gun does not have many uses) (rank B)
Strafe Gun (way too weak for an S-rank gun) (rank S)
I dislike these guns so strongly that I would more often than not prefer the Lil' Bomber over any one of them.
I also absolutely hate the Hot Watch (why is it rank S???). I just leave it for the rat (I think he picks it up now).
Best gun is no doubt Gunther.
I'd put Super Hot Watch alongside Bloodied Scarf since they both require you to immediately change the way you play to use them correctly.
I don't bother picking up the scarf, either.
In the recent ones I discover how great the Knight's Gun (the shovel) is. You can get so much armor, blank and the map in every floor making any bosses fight really easy.
I love also Compressed Air Tank for bosses, it's a run winner when I get it.
And I had so much fun once with the Bait Launcher. I got an item (or a synergy) that make you shoot dozen of bullet when getting hit (don't remember what it was). I had the Bait Launcher. The screen got literally flooded by tigers when I was getting hit. It was even slowing down the game so much. But I've never seen a boss livebar going down so fast. It was ridiculous.
And except the obvious worst rank D guns, I generally hate all the guns you have to charge. I have a hard time using them with running and dodging around. I always get hit against bosses with a charging gun. So I don't like the Mourning Star, the Railgun or the Disintegrator among the S ones.
And I hate casey, I'm so so bad with it (but yes it's also a charge "gun")
I know Casey kinda sucks, but nothing can beat the feeling of just **WACKING** an enemy with it. Or sending a mage's spell right back into their face. Hell, it ain't bad for the Wall boss on floor 4 either.
