Finally managed to kill the Advanced Dragun.

Congratulation! But to be honest, killing him wasn't the hard part... Getting to fight him is the most annoying part.

You have 2 way :

The easy way : Find the "Weird Egg", and drop it into a fire. ( NOT into a pit! ) It will hatch into a snake. Give it 3-4 items or weapon, and it will follow you. Doing so will give you a useful familiar, and the dragun will have a 3rd phase.

...The hard way : Kill the rat, and on his "knock out" phase, get at least 2 rat key. There a hidden wall inside the reward room with the 4 big chest. The snake is locked behind two rat locked gate.

You need the baby dragun
To get him you either buy that weird egg and drop it on fire or use a blank in the rat's treasure room (you'll also need 2 keys to get to the baby dragun doing this)
Then you feed him 4 guns and he'll follow you
In the dragun's second phase he'll kill the baby and become Advanced Dragun.

just to add to this: the advanced dragun doesnt count as dragun to the frifle quest. i have no idea why but defeating it wont count towards the goal.

didnt get the hero pig for him but i did get cigarettes and the vorpal gun on the first floor. nearly died to the rat though.

I had the hero pig synergy with the science cannon, pretty ok
