Find 6 scrolls. Okay, some luck, some time. Then donate 1000 . Ok . Then buy key EVERY time for 115 . Its best not to say that to do this you must either not buy anything from the shop, or go to Oubiette (and to get there 2 more keys whicj you may not find). And even if you follow these you may find yourseld with great equipment and smth like 105-110 money . And restart

Okay lets say you bought this key, found the chamber (yeah good luck with blind run on first time). Then you need to save one more key and 2 blanks, and solve that riddle with directions (okay it was in many games but never the less) . Then these rooms. Enemies here are quite tough . And remember you save some armor for boss (thx we find health and ammo before boss. What a generosity)

Finally boss and... wtf ? The first phase literally kicks all sh.it outta you, you may not survive this. Think this was tough? Here comes second one! Giant freaking robot or whatever, seems like more hp that all lich forms. And here we come undergeared, only 3 levels cleared, and in terms of saving money and keys, so mb 1.5 - 2 full floors. And then...

What do you mean by punch phase? Whaaat? and what 3 rounds? Round 2 comes so fast, you have no time to react, and IF you survive it - round 3! TADA! 2 times worse. And tell me HOW am I supposed to practice this if I can here maybe 1 run of 5 ? Its like Pilot's past , absolutely different controls, but 10 times harder. Okay. And remember you need TWO keys. Nope, one won't work. Even if you get to round 3 and do smth wrong you can end up with 1 key.

Then that greedy worm eating your stuff. Thx god (developers rly) it eats different trash items like guon stones, not weapon like munchers. Okay, you got your worm, some items if you are not completely broken, and comparing to all these going to Dragun is a piece of cake, but then

That last form. What the hell is it at all? HOW it jinxes me all time I can't shoot? How dodge all this? I could beat it mb inly because of black hole gun and some invincibility item

It took me maybe all day or day and a half to finish this last quest. And that's even not 4-5 keys, strictly 2, I died at round 3. Ok that's me, 650+ hours into game , 645 deaths... Ok, rly I liked the challenge, but damn, some piece of me is very glad we won't have another crazy trial in EtG for a looong time (or never) = D

The weird egg item allows you to battle the Advanced Dragun without having to go through the Resourceful Rat. Granted, this hinges on whether or not you find the item itself, as opposed to always having the chance after defeating the Rat. If you do it the indirect way, you save a lot in terms of time, casings, and other resources. However, a good Rat fight that drops 5 to 6 keys essentially sets you up with an easy win against the Advanced Dragun. The Cheese Gun and Pac-Man active are God-tier items that trivialize the difficulty possessed by the rest of the game, which seems like a fitting reward for the effort/skill that it takes to get a Rat fight that good.

No, the achievement specifically comes from defeating the Advanced Dragun. Dropping the Weird Egg in fire gives birth to a sleeping baby dragun, the same one that you encounter locked behind the two gold padlocks in the Rat's treasure room. It's essentially another route you can take to fight the Advanced Dragun, if you do not wish to go through the Rat fight.
