Or maybe you're just unlucky.
Couldnt these morons atleast have designed it so it takes like 2 armors away from the robot like 1 wasnt enough of a punishment? no they didnt even think of this, this game to this day is riddled with these facepalm designs. Whats even the point of the robot and and the bullet guy when their pool of items and shrines to get arent seperate and adjusted with items that are actually of use to them. The companion shrine appearing in the robots run is just pure dumb design.
Why can the robot even be poisoned?
Edit: just got ring of chest vampirism and the money vampire npc in the oubliette now, this really wants me to play the robot again as soon as die on this run.
It is a bit of a questionable design choice to tie the unlock to something so rare, and then make it impossible for one of the characters to even use. As a result I just don't dare to play as the robot until it's unlocked.
I did get a fun little synergy on that run to make up for it though, the judge + the police officer, which turns him into a robot. I also had the baby mimic, so I ended up having 2 robot officers, as the robot. Team robot.
I got it once with the bullet and thats about it.
Please let me have another one of these.
Atleast I got the companion shrine a few times. So turkey unlocked!
