Resourceful rat nightmare ¿Unlockables?

So I've been trying to bit him but I find it awfull to reach the rat lair. The boss battle is fine I can do it everytime but I never bit the punch out part.
I just find boring to play saving money and keys so I want to know:

Is it worth for me to try and get all the keys from the rat in the punch out?
An what things can be unlocked in that batttle? something for bitting him? soething for getting all the keys?
If isn't there nothing to get I'm out of trying that battle.

According to the wiki (and speaking as someone who's only gotten 1 key at a time so far), there's a secret room in the reward room where you can spend 2 rat keys to get a serpent. The other way is to find the Weird Egg item and throw it in fire. You need that serpent if you want to fight an upgraded version of the Dragun.

Otherwise, the rewards are just those 4 rat chests. As far as I know there's no unlock for winning punchout.

Also, according to the wiki, the main way to get rat keys is to finish each round with a super attack. You get 1 key for getting there at all and 1 if you beat him, but 4 are tied to super attacks (1 per round plus 1 if you do it every round).

There technically is an unlock for beating the punch-out phase. It adds a visual flair to the Breach. A pair of boxing gloves will hang from the bunk bed in the character selection area.

Wow, Didn't know about the serpent maybe it's time to asume the spoilers and start lokking the web for all the unlockables hahaha
