How to disable Lord of the Jammed?
So I want to have a lot of course cause i like the challenge of harder enemies and bosses...
but this guy that follows you around EVERYWHERE is just stupid to me. you cant shop anymore unless you waste time and go to the other side of the map and wait for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to follow you.... then teleport to the shop.... lucky yet I havent encountered a placee where i need to pass the shop to continue to clear the level... then the shooting challenge where u have to hit 4 heads to get something good... yeah sure hes just there right on you not even allowing to aim...

So ok my point is that is there any way to disable him or something? or is it just something devs threw in there and did not give a ♥♥♥♥ about how it plays out?

Afaik you can't ingame. That's the penalty/challenge 10+ cirse brings.
However there might be a mod for it, idk.

The point of Lord of the Jammed is to make you carefully consider whether you really want that cursed item or not. Most cursed items are very strong, but you don't want so much curse that you summon Lord. Although there are some players that actually like being chased by the guy, too.

well... i just pray at the start of the game by the enterance to get extra gold while fighting mimics and A LOT of jammed bullets....
I do think that Lord of the Jammed is porly done and deffinetly could be improved. For example instead of following you THE ENTIRE Fing time he could just appear in every fight like the grim dude that appears in the 5th dungeon... or the 4th... cant remember... anw... once the fight finishes he dissapears... so you could go shopping or do the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minigame shooter...

Atm I do think its a poorly implemented feature. I mean not a lot of people get to that point so i guess feedback about it issint as common ^_^

I'm not too experienced with EtG so correct me if i am wrong but afaik you can't get cursed involuntarely. Even if you get 9 curse at the start you're save aslong as you don't interact with anything that gives you curse.

While i doubt you can do anything to get rid of him (unless the uncurse fountain that VEEEEERY RARELY shows up gets rid of him, not sure), you could, like he said, just pray at the shrine at the start if you've beaten that character's past, get 9 Curse (pretty much the maximum before he shows up), and ignore any cursed items.

That said, you would have to watch out for those pot things that curse you if you stay in their radius for too long... But as long as you're careful about what you use/pickup or who you buy from, you shouldn't ever gain any curse. (Probably worth noting Cursula sells cursed but cheaper items, and stuff like the Lament Configurum can spawn cursed items.)
I assume you noticed by now, but all cursed items have a blackish particle taint effect on them when they're on the ground, ready to be picked up. Either because they're cursed by default or they where spawned with a curse on them.

Now i wonder... If you pick up a cursed item, going from 9 to 10, and he spawns, and you drop it and go to the next floor, would he still appear? Hm... I do recall he will NOT despawn from the floor once he appears, but will reducing your curse stop him from appearing next floor, i wonder...

Or i wonder... Would picking up a cursed item that's normally not cursed still let you drop it to reduce the curse, or it just gives a persistent curse up? Hm... (I know that items that are cursed by default, such as various melee weapons, can be ditched to reduce curse level a little, though.)

Iirc as soon as you get a curse increase, it sticks. No matter what you do.

He doesn't spawn on the next floor and he won't spawn, if you arrive on the next floor and you won't move.
I came down with 10 curse, then dropped a cursed item to lower it to 9 curse, before moving.
He didn't spawn and only the moment I got 10 curse again :P

Super hot watch helps immensely. It’s not common and often sucks but it’s awesome for the super cursed runs

I've actually gotten away from him twice. The first time I turned him into a chicken (magic bullets, or one of the magic guns). The second time, I simply dropped a cursed item and brought my curse back down below 10 (I did that at the end of a level, I can't remember if that helped or not).

Lord of the Jammed can't be shot. Bullets pass straight through him.

If you drop the item that give you the 10th curse before the end of the level, Lord won't appear on the next floor.

He can’t be turned into anything. The other reaper-type enemy can though

I think the fountain rejects you at 10 curse.

Not to be rude, but I wouldn't just say it like that. I'm guessing you won cause of luck. But yeah. If you can do it with ANY weapon, please make a video that proofs you are an expert. And no, I'm not saying I'm better than you, I didn't beat Dragun yet.
