Just got the strafe gun... uhh.. it's not great. what am I missing?

Title. seems barely better th an an ak-47 or something. why is this a black c hest item? I mean I know all items aren't neccesarily as good as their chest. but a BLACK chest item? really?

I don't wanna hear it's op with sunglasses or something either. I'm talking about alone here.

It's DPS is higher than AK-47. lol

But yeah, it's DPS admittedly isn't as high as some of the other S guns. But it's still pretty solid. It also does area damage with the explosions. And it's shots are instant, instead of having travel time. Truthfully, it probably is one of the weaker S guns. But it's still pretty good.

I would say it *is* fairly "great", but that's not enough when compared to some truly OP items you can pull from black chests. Respectable damage, solid ammo capacity, instant-travel bullets, and the explosions are AoE. One side benefit to the instant-travel is that you can shoot at those red-caped magicians at will 'cause they can't steal your shots.

If you don't dwell on what you could've gotten in its place, the STRAFE gun is a fine piece of equipment.

It is great weapon. Shot a litle and release the triger. It can kill bosses very fast, remeber rule of 3 seconds. Burst and release.
And i have that first impression like you have. That gun need a litle practice.

Well I like seeing it. It's a good gun. There aren't actually that many guns where you can just point an accurate stream at something, it does good damage, and the target just dies. Beams often have low damage, other guns have a lot of spread, and other guns just have low ammo. Strafe gun does good accurate damage.

It's one of the worst S-tier guns, but it's one of my favorites.
