Favourite Guns?

What guns are your favourite to use?

I'm new to the game and I suck, but the Composite Gun's carried me to the Forge on this run (previous best was black powder mine boss). Saved for now, because I know i'll lose this great run when I play again, lol.

Why the basic Sniper Rifle? Just curious, as the M1 and AWP are basically better of the same weapon.

AWP was already mentioned before :-) I like all of them, M1 is great.

i was so incredibly happy to hear they added "the exotic", which is a parody of the gjallarhorn from destiny 1. god, i played so much destiny, i aboslutely love that game to death, even though it's not all that great from a critic's standpoint. and the fact you get the ghost to follow you around and tell you what's in chests just makes it all that bvetter.the best part; it's an awesome weapon in both games!

That familiar isn't always right about chest contents though. One time, it said a chest was gonna contain the AK-47, but then Big Iron actually came out. And I got guns from both chests on floor 3 the run I had The Exotic in too, and I suspect it was a bug caused by that familiar.

Are there multiple familiars that can expose the content of chests? The aformentioned synergy of mine also gave me a familiar that instead looked like Navi from the Zelda-games and it was repeatedly suspecting the correct item in every chest I had it guess on. Maybe some familiars are more likely to be correct than others?

I don't know. The Exotic is the only time I've gotten to play with a familiar that reveals chest contents.

Yes. It's purchased from Doug. There are also some synergies that give familiars like that as well.

Gonna assume the Navi one is with Blasphemy.

I think I read that it was Excaliber + Bottle. But my memory could be wrong too.

There's also one that looks like Flounder from the Little Mermaid. I think it is Siren + Bionic Leg.

navi companion is shotgun of love + pink guon stone.

gungeon ant + heck blaster gives a very powerful rocket-launcher style gungeon ant

Blasphemy is amazing. You can pretty much nullify most non-moving bullet attacks and you can use the double reload to get basically free blanks. Does high damage, is a starting weapon, all just amazing.
