Is the Alien Sidearm just a worse megahand?

I mean, they do literally the exact same thing but the megahand does more damage and is slightly more accurate. Maybe there's some synergy that makes the alien sidearm badass but it just kind of seems like a poor man's megahand

well sidearm is cheaper and is in a lower tier chest so you find it more often. its not as good as the megabuster but it still has enough ammo and damage to last you through the first 2 floors

It's a reliable trash killer if you're willing and skilled enough to charge it up all the way, making it sorta viable, but by the thir floor you should have a better gun to use.

A simple yes would of done just fine.

turns it into a beauty, increased ammo capacity, fully auto, final two shots are automatically charged, unfortunately you cant manually charge it at this point but its simply more versatile as a fully automatic weapon, feels like a buffed up h4mmer (minus the stun)

How about that Anvillain.
I like it quite a bit actually
I also really like the Barrel. The th ing that shoots trouts that stun enemies one in every 4 shots.

both of those two are fine, I can rely on the barrel enough to do a boss fight and anvillain is a decent room clear up until about floor 4, but if you can find the synergies it makes the two of them much greater, kind of like how the machine pistol is garbage but if you get the futuristic upgrade the shots pierce an are connected by lightning, synergies really are where its at right now, I'm really appreciative of the overhaul they did for that system, and they even gave them unique ui so that documenting them on the wiki would be easier (I know the blue arrow always existed but I don't think they were named before)

Honestly I like the Machine Pistol ont he first floor. Second floor it's still good but far less effective. I've also never had a big use for shots connected by lightning but it may be good with the machine pistol because of how innacurate

The only thing that makes chain lightning bullets function well is because they pierce otherwise they are kinda meh

Megahand is just a worse Heroine anyway.
