Worst Thing to Happen?

Okay so, I was in the abbey, and I found a green chest room connected to Brother Albern's Room. I opened the chest and got Heavy Boots which was gross. I then opened the green chest and got BLOCKNER'S SHEILD. I MISSED THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SYNERGY! What about y'all?

Oh my bad, i thought the betrayer's shield had a synergy with heavy boots, and so they were saying they missed that synergy.

It has a synergy with Lies. But he already opened the truth chest and got Heavy Boots. So he was upset that he missed the opportunity for the Betrayer's Lies synergy.

Yeah i already figured that out when i checked the wiki to see what synergies the betrayer's shield had.

How did you miss the synergy? I didn't see anywhere that the synergy could have been possible.
Also "worst thing to happen?" You haven't seen the worst.

It still sucks big time. OP just barely missed the opportunity to get one of the better weapon-synergies in the game, Betrayer's Lies is a beast.

How about having great active items but running into an even better one but you have no room? Or your keyboard running out of power as a bullet is about to smack you in the face?
Or a pilot run where you find a key bullet kin that runs into a hoard of enemies when you only have your starter weapon and you try so hard to get to it but end up losing it and 2 hearts in the process? Or using a key on a good chest only to find an even better chest later on but you can't get any other keys.

First two happen to me a lot. Keyboard is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ that delays all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time, and yes, the pilot one happens a lot. Btw last one is relatable as ♥♥♥♥.
