Gunther is the best gun in the game.

Now, I didn't say the most FUN gun in the game but as far as run winning power, Gunther is top. No other gun can get you a win like Gunther can. Rapid fire, homing, good damage and even infinite ammo all add up to God Tier status.

I got Gunther out of a black chest in Chamber 1 and then proceeded to no-hit kill the Dragun and breeze though Bullet Hell to the Lich—who I killed with like 5 full hearts to spare, lol

Gunther is second on my unlock prioriry list; I see Retromation using it very often and it looks incredible.

well makeshift cannon + duct tape is op af. Duct tape = sci cannon + makeshift cannon = Instant reload + one hit kill.

I'd rather duct tape Makeshift Cannon to something that isn't gonna burn a lot of ammo during Makeshift Cannon's charge time. Like a second charge weapon, or something with a one-round magazine.

The second you find a way around Makeshift Cannon’s restriction, it instantly becomes absurdly broken, given its ludicrous damage and ability to break the DPS cap. A simple Reliadstrone can also do the job. Especially considering the bullet amount many later bosses fire, you should have no problem keeping the Cannon fueled up enough to blast through every boss.

oh ye good point then instead of the sci cannon the polaris I thought i heard that gun instantly shoots charged projectiles with duct tape.

Not exactly. Polaris has to level up, similar to Gunther. But if you duct tape Polaris to something else, it will shoot all three level variants of Polaris simultaneously.

How often does one get both Makeshift Cannon AND find Duct Tape? I won't say that that combo isn't insane but in the 50 something hours I've played I haven't even SEEN the Makeshift Cannon.

Soon as you see Gunther up for grabs, you know it's a won run without the need for anything else.

You probabbly havent unlocked it. But ye never do you get it. I never have. Something more reliable is an A grade weapon and some lots of ammo weapon beam or/and quick reload.
