Rad Gun, on the other hand, would be fairly easier to use, since the damage bonus from each reload is stacking with the others, up to the point where a magazine with 7-8 reloads done is capable of melting a floor 3 boss. Showing the bar in the middle of the action, despite drawing your attention away from it, would ve worth it in that regard.
Or it could be a toggleable setting. Yeah, that's the best solution.
Though I guess that it could make the Rad Gun a bit too strong... It IS a really powerful gun after all.
But also, Bosses do still cap potential damage hard, so does it really make a big difference after a few chained Rad Gun Reloads? I've seen fights where I actually stopped attacking to focus on evading difficult patterns, and caught up to the invisible cap with ease anyway...
