Black Market

102 hours in this game. I have never seen a single black market. Is there a way to trigger it or am I just painfully unlucky?

I've seen more glitch chests than black markets, so it's not only you.

I’ve actually seen a Rainbow and glitch chest... and 2 black markets so I’ve see 2 of the rarest chests about as often as I’ve seen a black market.

have seen quite some black markets. i read somewhere that they are more likely to spawn the more shells you have though that could just be some rando rumor.

I've also only seen it a handful of times in over 300 hours. Also, I don't think money has an bearing on the BM aside from needing 100 to enter (if you don't have any curse).

Just unlucky.I found mine on my 23rd hours of playtime iirc

Edit:Scratch that.I just remembered that I found it twice.First time,it kept spitting me back out and I didnt know that it requires you to be cursed/have 100 brass with you.Second time I got accepted by it.

Just got my first ever rainbow chest. Still no black market.

i've gone into tons of black markets though. They're not THAT rare. I've got 1 glitch chest (it exploded due to a fuse unfortunately) and i got a rainbow chest after 8 hours of playtime.

it sounds more like you have incredibly good luck. I have I think at least 80 hours and I've only ever found 1 black market, and even then if you're not cursed and you don't have enough money, you can't enter.

Might be. I've just had them show up often enough that i honestly didn't know they were rare until this thread.

Finally got my first black market, 163 hours into the game. Gotta love random number generators.
