Tips for opening the 4th and 5th floor shortcut?

I ask because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does that dude need a lot of key’s and shells. I don’t need hegemony credits anymore as I’ve bought everything. I know general tips like play the pilot since his lockpick can help him hoard key’s and disarming personallity can help him buy things in an emergency. But anything else? Like should I go to the oublette or skip it, if I see the drill in the shop should I buy it, Should I keep doing the firsr floor until I get cursed bullets and then do the hero shrine for curse? Stuff like that.

Try a gunslinger run, for the extra casings. It will be harder, but it will reward you more.

Defs go to the Oub. as that is an entire extra floor to farm more coins and keys. You can get lucky and unlock both locks with only the Trusty Lockpicks—just restart if it fails.

Some even say go for the Abbey of the True Gun as well, but I didn't need to when I unlocked the final shortcuts. Abbey is too hard to risk, imo...dat boss.

It'll no doubt take some luck but with the Trusty Lockpicks you should be able to get at least 1 chest open per floor and thus horde all the keys and money while still getting some loot. If you can snag Briefcase of Cash or Golden Junk well, all the better.

And I basically got everything for the fifth and 4th chamber in a few tries (played pilot and bought nothing not even keys but key rng was nice to me.)... except the chamber 4 master round still working on that.
