The challenge. I had that annoying hammer appear twice in a row on boss fights.
don't worr, you'll unlock Chaos Bullets after 20 failed attemps, I think
It's the only achievement left , I got the bullets already ;). Was just being salty.
Man, I just got in the zone yesterday and breezed through to Dragun. Had great weapons, and I beat it. 100% completion :D.
You just have to be lucky and not get the most horrible effects on bosses. The hammer falling down while dodging boss attacks is impossible and you will get hit no matter what.
And things like that is why it sucks. I don't mind difficulty. This game is very hard, but is otherwise fair. If you get hit, it's usually your fault. And that's 100% ok.
But this, in the other hand, is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. A single room stacking several negative modifiers makes avoiding damage impossible and may well ruin a run. That's why I think there should be some positive modifiers to compensate.
