what does blood sacrifice do?

+25% damage multiplier applied to all weapons. Also inflicts some curse on you. Unless you're already too cursed to safely afford it, I'd always recommend it.

Cuz after I used it
it reduced 1 max hp and some enemies have a weird red aura on them when i kill them it sort of gets sucked into me

hm, they actually could change shrine effect.
Before AG&D, you gave away 1 heart container and were cursed by small amount, but instead gained permanent damage buff
Now effect can be different. I didn't encounter this shrine after update yet, so can't tell

I got all the shrines and looking at the wiki I know their faces
the one I encountered doesn't look like any of them
it looked sort of jammed and had blood behind it in a pool of something

I was just playing, and I know this is WAYYYY too late to respond to your comment, it seemed when an enemy was glowing I could stand close to him to execute him and drain him. He couldn't resist or shoot or anything.

Edit: I combined it with a flame aura eating the souls of nearby enemies while incinerating them :o The drain and flame works on bosses too.
