and when i say slow i don't mean slow as in lil bomber slow where it takes an eternity to fire and even longer to reload. the DPS of the megahand is so low i almost never use the gun against bosses, but for mobs instead.
its so powerfull that there isn't really a boss to take advantage off to use it to its full potential. i can only think of jammed bosses that the megahand would be well suited against, but these virtually never appear unless your curse is higher than five. other then that, good targets are early bosses to save ammo ,but thats it. no boss has enough health to seriously challenge the megahands damage to bullet ratio, wasting its potential.
the best way to use the gun is as a clearing gun, something to kill ordinary enemies on ordinary floors and to use your guns with much higher DPS against bosses. trust me, once you fight the hardest bosses in the game, you will be reaching for rocket launchers and shotguns alot more then the megahand.
op? yes, if overpowered means its so powerful it comes back to just being a good gun. i wouldn't be opposed to a nerf that takes some ammo away from it ,but aside from that, the megahand doesn't exactly win you games, only in an indirect manner at best, which is something that can be said about any gun.
also, bonus comment on the heroine: it is just a megahand designed for bosses. less ammo, takes longer to charge, more damage. works actually better against bosses for that reason, because of the shifted focus from ammo to damage, which increases the general DPS, but it is still slow as balls because of that stupid longwinded charge up, making the gun even less appealing in high stress situations then the megahand.
They're probably among the best of their tier, but they don't win a run by themselves (they do outside of bosses, of course)
