However (and I'm also not sure about this) if you just don't want to unlock it because you don't want to get it on drops, it has a reaaaally low drop rate. I've got Gunther, Makeshift Cannon and other rare guns way more times than Microtransaction gun (in 600 hours, I think I've got it 3 times).
I'm not worried about getting it in-game - heck, sounds to me like a great gun for checking for mimics, with the small chance of unlocking the chest. I just want to conserve the 100 HC if I can help it, so I can buy more items from AG&D and potentially the unannounced DLC.
That's why I say that MicroGun has low rate, because it's one of the rarest items to find.
Besides this, if your concern is to have enough credits por AG&D, you'd better save those credits and not buy the gun for now, indeed.
its not properly documented anywhere and it might just be a placebo, but it definetly feels asthough some items drop with a certain chance ,even though they are technically supposed to have equal chances.
also, no it's a terrible gun.
Btw, what does the "P" in "PRNG" stand for? I just don't know what it means.
