Mimic Gun?

It randomly appeared while i was in the Abbey of the true gun , the secret level after you deliver that cup on the pedestal.
How did it appear? I can only use this gun, i can't switch to other ones and it doesn't even appear in my inventory

Nope, also it randomly disappeared as i was using it.
It was shooting pacman-like bullets

You didn't have any new items on you? Maybe some passives or synergies we don't know exist yet?

If they added a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall mimic then i wouldnt be too surprised if the game had a gun mimic too.

I got a mimic gun after picking up a weapon from a chest. It isn't very strong, and any bullets the projectile passes through become jammed. It has a huge ammo count, but it went away after I emptied a few clips into a boss.
