Infuriating note

Can someone help understand how I get to the new rat boss? Do you need all 6 notes in a single run? Or do you just need to encounter them and then the maze unlucks ?

you only need to encounter all six of them.

Every time you find an infuriating note, it'll be in your ammonomicon. Once you got all 6, the cheese on the notes will give you directions in the maze if followed in order.

unlock all the notes in your ammonomicon

> pay 1000 (115 after) for the key
> go to 3rd floor
> find a room with rats running around
> walk around the rat room until a bigger than usual cloud of dust kicks up
> walk around the place with bigger cloud of dusts
> unlock the trapdoor with a regular key
> walk all the way to the end of the tunnel
> pop a blank
> walk all the way inside the hole the blank revealed
> pop another blank
> unlock trapdoor with the special key
> drop down the big hole
> check Infuriating notes in ammonomicon for directions
> follow directions.

I can't tell which way the cheese is pointing

Each cheese has a curve to it, indicating the back. So the opposite of that is the way you need to follow on the note.
