One way to find a Wall Mimic

TL;DR: pay attention to the map for impossible doors, that can be a Wall Mimic.

Met a Wall Mimic in one of my last runs. Saw a gun-eating chest room with a dead end, but the map indicates there is a door/exit on top of that room. I went to see if there's any secret and the Wall Mimic slammed on me as I approach.

Here is the room and the map with a hole on top (the Wall Mimic is killed already):

That hole can never be a door as there is no space for another room. Therefore, I guess we can find a Wall Mimic by looking for impossible door placements.

Luckily our trusty pots and books are not mimics yet.

I mostly find them during combat so i dont really have time to check the map for weird walls.
