Compared to the Challenge mode, it's a very fair "hard mode". Everything is sped up but tweaked separately, it isn't just a flat speed bust. It surpassed my expectations, unlike Challenge mode this is very balanced and an experienced player is likely to turn it on and never turn it off again. It makes the Gungeon much more thrilling and challenging which is exactly what is needed if you completed the game a billion times doing everything.
Though in my first win I stopped at the Dragun, the thought of the bullet hell in Turbo mode terrifies me lol
So in short I think it's a great mode and balanced with great attention for the most part. Give it a try but you're probably gonna die a few times before the first win even if you're a master so if you don't kill the Dragun on let's say 95% of your runs it would be really hard.
"tonic the sledge-dog" lol
Sounds neat XD, i'm gonna give it a try, tho i'm probably gonna die on the first floor.
Thanks for replying!
because it makes you MUCH faster especially in turbo mode, so whenver you start combat in a room the game will feel slower and you'll get used to turbo mode.
reason why I beat it in my first try was because I used to challenge myself by using a program to speed the game x2 :S
I didn't know that was an option, i should probably check the new settings added to the game, thanks for the tip! n-n
