Laser Lotus Transformed?!?

You know the regular A-tier Laser Lotus?
I found it on the first floor,killed the boss with it,went into the first secret chamber,killed Blobulord and jumped into the elevator to Gungeon Proper.

When i left the elevator the gun changed its skin,became fully automatic.Its magazine gained increased capacity ( from 10 to 30 ) and its total ammo went from 100 to 250.

What happened? Does this gun evolve when i finish floors with it?

It didnt change at all after i left Gungeon Proper and went to the 3rd chamber.

There are tons of synergys now. For example mermaid shotgun+gun that shoots fish gives you little fish that blocks enemy bullets and allows you to see whats inside a closed chest ( Im not sure but maybe you also need robot leg that makes you faster, atleast something happened to me when I took it).

I had something similar happen to the Elephant Gun. Got the normal version of it on the first floor, killed the boss with it. When I got to the second floor, I noticed the gun had changed from a regular looking rifle, to having an elephant snout for a barrel. And instead of shooting a shotgun type spread, it shot out purple elephants.

Various synergies lead to gun visuals changing as well as bullet effects. You can see an easy-to-find one in the Phoenix, which changes color, gains a larger flare effect on firing, and spawns a phoenix follower when held, if you have both it and Flame Bullets equipped.

Another fun one is Flash Ray and the Camera for the Flash Gun transformation. Both guns gain elements of each other while you have both of them in your inventory. I'm enjoying all these new synergies.
