Is there any way to speed up hegemony credits?

At this point in the game, the only things left that can give me a fun challenge are cursed runs that end with the Lich, robot runs that end with the Lich, using the elevator to jump straight to level 5, blessed runs, and maybe Daisuke's challenge mode (haven't even tried yet). Unfortunately, all of these things completely tank the rate at which you unlock the remaining content. Level 6 is long but grants no credits, the elevator reduces credits to near-nothing, being cursed adds to difficulty without raising credits, and blessed or challenge runs COST credits while granting none.

As far as I can tell there's no option except doing dozens upon dozens of vanilla runs that end at level 5. It reaches the point where you need more than 1 full run to unlock a single item.

Since some genius decided that doing harder things should grant less credits, is there any way to speed up the remaining unlocks? At this point if someone had a game mod that just made the first boss drop 100 credits I wouldn't even consider it cheating.

Install Mod the Gungeon, after you selcted a character press F2.
It should open a console/debug menu.

Type: Give Hegemony_Credit (And the number of how much)

WARNING! Mod the Gungeon makes the game crash! After you gave yourself enough credits, deinstall or you may get annoyed about random crashes after ~2 hours.

The game may begin to stutter randomly and it always crashes during closing the game.

These are your options: Play the game or install the mod and use the commend.

I unlocked everything after 30+ runs, because the shops only refill after you entered the gungeon or opened the game. I have EVERYTHING, but I don't have it installed for obviously reasions. It takes really long to unlock everything with cheats...

Thanks for the tip! It'd be great if the base game was designed in a non-grindy way, but as long as the risk of crashing goes away once you uninstall the mod, this sounds like a good alternative.

Remeber to deinstall and then delete the 2 and possible crash folders, after that just install the game and you are done. I couldn't find any save files, every progress is 100% safe. You can only delete your save in the game.

Be sure to make a backup so your version of the game isn't corrupted.
