Do you go to Bullet Hell every time?

Yeah, I'm just curious about this one. Do you go to that place at the end of every run, or only on specific runs when you feel your build is up to it?

I can get through to the end and beat the Dragun without all that much trouble, but.... I find that by the time I'm done there, either A: I have very little ammo for anything, or B: the Dragun fight has taken so freakishly long that I'm tired of playing by that point... either option has me just walking around the damn hole (particularly since I know just how crazy long Bullet Hell is, and how tanky EVERYTHING is there).

Seriously, that boss needs waaaayyyyyyyy less HP than it has. That one fight usually sucks the fun out of any given run for me. Too freaking long. Reminds me of fighting Gurdy in Isaac on a super-low-damage run.

And yeah, I've beaten Lich before, but I only did it the one time. Heck, I've only fought him two times.

So, what do you guys do here?

It's not wo rth doing bullet hell when you still need hegemony credits. But once you got most of what you want with them, I just do it for the fun/challenge.

I go about 90% times. The few times I decide don't go to Bullet Hell are when I feel that it's not a "fun run", meaning that surprisingly I haven't go any fun synergies, or that I simply don't like my guns / items. I also skip it when I make embarassing mistakes (not flawlessing dragun with a top build), pisses me off and I rage quit :(

Nope. I did it once, there's no reason to go back there whatsoever.

How do i go in the bullet hell? There is no skeleton that grabs me arse.

If you kill all 4 of the main character's pasts you can go to bullet hell.

When i say kill their pasts i mean make the bullet that can kill the past (the blacksmith on floor 5 tells you everything you need) and take it to the gun that can kill the past, then clear the special level at least once for all of the main characters.

I go there every time, unless I feel like I'm on my last legs after the dragun fight and have no chance of surviving it. To me, it's just that level 6 is the level I'm building up towards instead of level 5. Once you've beat the lich a few times Dragun isn't much of a climax.

I go whenever I have a good run. It lets me enjoy my power for a little bit longer. Now, if my runs been bad and the RNG treated me horrible then no.

It's really not that long at all for a "final boss". Once you beat the game enough, dragun really doesn't pose the same challenge -- even when jammed. I always take bullet hell now, and I sort of wish there was an even deeper challenge (more than daisuke).
