I was on the mines as the bullet, out of ammo and didn't have full health so couldn't use Blasphemy. Found a chicken flute, and used it to kill Cannonbalrog.

Seeing a horde of chickens chase Cannonbalrog all over the room and pecking him to death is good for the soul.

Try it as The Robot. Your Battery Bullets and Coolant Leak make it possible to use exclusively chickens for the entire game. The chicken gets SO many triggers that the Coolant Leak recharges via room wipe, allowing you to do it again in the next room. I actually got a run where I got the Mega Douser and Chicken Flute as The Robot. It was amazing.

you can also position the chicken so he stands in front of you and he will block all of the bullets, you can just stand still.
