The Hollow Bosses Are Hard....
Mainly Wallmonger but nearly all these bosses on this floor are bullet hells and its becoming harder to come back from breezing through the first three floors and get destroyed on the forth (ive gotten to The Forge once to put it into perspective) any help or comments on this would help :steamsad:

Ya gotta get in the flow with your dodging abilities. Other than that, I don't got much to say. I absolutely hate the high priest.

I don't mean to simply sound like I'm saying "get gud", but it just take practice. They are a step up in difficulty to be sure. High Priest is my nightmare. Kill Plillars will chase you, and it's hard to avoid getting hit without speed up, or dodge roll passives. I actually find Wallmonger the easiest.

I used to find wallmonger to be really hard, but he's somehow the easiest floor 4 boss. You just need to stay on one side and sift through the bullets, only rolling on attacks where it's mandatory, like whole lines of bullets.

Wallmonger is definitely the easiest of the three once you get used to him. Super predictable, highly telegraphed attacks that you can respond to the same way every time.

Kill Pillars is the nastiest for me. Without a speed up I can rarely escape from their "chase you" attack without taking one (or multiple) hits, and the bullet layout in some of their other attacks can be very unpredictable.

High Priest is middle ground. Most of his attacks are reasonable on their own and don't combo with each other, but he has lots of potential to catch you off guard with a cheap hit (mostly from a bullet you didn't even see). Plus the two attacks he stole from Cannonbalrog throw enough bullets at you that beating them with just dodging or the dodge roll is hard.

If you get the Commando, only use it on boss fights.

BTW, I am a complete **** in high skill cap games, but by playing a lot of time (and I mean it) I eventually became pretty good at the game: Anticipating enemies attack by looking to their animation, Having WAAYYY better reflexes and mostly important leaning their patterns and how to dodge them while doing the maximum of dmg.

My best tips and tricks are:
1-try slowing the time with button made to switch between weapons because when you are confused and you see too many thing on your screen, it can help you finding a ''safe space'' and it helps for positioning in the best spot.
2-Find your best character. For me, it was the pilot (even if a lot people think he sucks) because I like to have additional opportunies for chest and rooms locked. The lower prices are great. Plus, you get more ammo for your guns and additional space for an active item (SOOO GREAT). Since I found my own preference, I started doing very nice runs and I almost always had great guns/items to deal with bosses, more cash, more health, more keys, etc...
3-Don't waste your ammo, even though a lot of people prefer using their great guns for rooms (not necessarily boss guns). You have to rely on the luck to get ammo (and it happens sometimes, but...), so except if you have so many guns you can do whatever you want try using you starting gun whe nthe room is safe to use it.
4-Try finding secret rooms, it's worth it. Take your time use a bit of ammo if you can afford it. In the case you can't, try to do it in chest rooms or in the room of the elevator going to lower floors (after the boss).
5-There are always two chest rooms on a floor... everyone knows that, but what you may not have notice is that there is always in one chest an item and in the other a gun, be aware of that when you open a chest.
6-For the kill pillars even if the phase with the cursed bullets might be intimidating don't use your blank blindly, follow the way the circle of bullets is rotating and wait for the moment when the boss launches another circle of bullets before rolling: That's the right time to do it, next time you won't have to waste blanks to escape that pahse.
7-For the wallmonger, the tip #1 is definitely working. Analyse the situation: where should I go now? Only roll if you don't have the choice and try as much as possible to dodge his attacks by casually walking on the side. Using the time slow can help you choose where to go.
8-For The high priest, don't walk around like a fool that's where he can catch you and get you, try to move stratigically by anticipating where will he go (tip #1 can, again, help you to do that). Slow time when he's in his tp phase, so you can look carefully at his ''shadow'' showing in which direction is he going to tp. This way you won't roll on him like a fool or in his attacks.

Well that's all for me. I don't know what else could be useful in this situation.

Yeah, they are actually like the 2nd hardest part of the game imo. the hardest being lich form 2 (and only 2).

Kill pillars aren't that tough to me personally but they have that one attack where they all march to the left side of the screen and start bouncing to the right side... I still haven't really figured out how to not get hit by that one while they're all still alive.

High priest was weird. I never had issues with him until they made a patch saying something like 'stopped making high priest have cheap bullets come out of nowhere to hit you during ___ attack'.. and ever since then I found myself getting nailed by bullets I didn't notice. wut.
