Rank the gungeon floor bosses by difficulty
Felt the urge to do this for some reason.

Chamber 1:

#3: The gattling gull.
If you have pillars for cover, this fight is pretty trivial. If not, his stationary gattling has a regular, widely spaced pattern, his walking gattling is normally avoidable by just rolling in one direction, his only combo is with the backscatter off of his single-shot burst, and his 2-waves are easy to dodge through. If you know the blast radius of his bombs, you're unlikely to be hit by them, but that's probably the easiest spot to take damage in this fight.

#2: The trigger twins.
They don't have any crazy patterns. The main reason they're a problem is because of their size (making them harder to hit than some other bosses), their modest amount of movement, and the fact that their patterns can overlap in occasionally awkward ways.

#1: Bullet king.
Each one of his attacks is pretty easy to dodge by itself, but he can combo with his disorganized bullet burst, and THAT is a pain. The only way I can often see to handle that is blanking. Additionally, I find myself getting pinned against the wall way too often in his fight due to his movement pattern, making even his non-combo attacks a bit hazardous. I googled some bullet king fight videos a couple of days ago to see if there was a really obvious trick I was missing and even the tutorial guy I watched, who is legitimately good at the game, ended up getting nicked.
Additionally, the king is immune to burning and poisonous goop. Yay.
(With regards to the Old King boss, I think he’s worse than the dragun. He’s a more annoying version of bullet king with more than triple the health. Getting good with bullet king is good practice, and if you feel you’ve truly mastered the bullet king, going through the abbey is probably the right move for you if you get the chance.)

Chamber 2:

#3: The gorgun.

She's mostly stationary, making her an easy target, even from a distance, and none of her attacks combo, unless you count her poison spread. Her double-bullet arcs can sometimes come quickly, but unless you're standing directly in front of her guns you should be able to roll through them with ease. Standing too far away from her can make her waves of bullets hazardous as they can shift in ways that prevent easy of passage and the gaps close with time. Eventually the bullets space out enough to walk between them anyway (i think?)

#2: The beholster.

The difficulty of the beholster varies widely depending on whether or not you have a gun with a good rate of fire, as getting chased by the rockets for any length of time is a serious problem.
This boss's individual attacks are all pathetic, but it strings together combos pretty well, and spawns enemies to further aggravate your dodging. If you can control his spawns, you practically don't even need to dodge roll except for when he fires his beam. If you don't, you're probably going to die.
I learned the hard way that not all guns affect his rockets.

#1: The ammoconda

He's fast. (Slightly faster than unboosted you actually, so don't let him corner you.) His movement patterns are weird. His bullet patterns are weird. He can heal himself and increase his speed by eating his spawns. The fight is mostly just about being ready for him to do weird things. The patterns themselves aren't very bad, they're just challenging to predict. His health is low enough that the healing doesn't make the fight feel too long, but you DO have to keep shooting.

Chamber 3:

#3: The treadnaught.
This is the only boss I've fought in the gungeon that has never killed me. He doesn't really make enough bullets to really be called a bullet hell. Don't stand in the way of his shells. Avoid the backscatter. Kill the bullet kin he spawns... That's pretty much it. If he had less health and spawned regular bullet kin, I think he'd make more sense on the first floor.

#2: The cannonbalrog.
This is one of my favorite bosses. I don't think he's that hard though. His bullets are pretty slow, and unless they line up just right, you can dodge-roll through most of his patterns without a problem. The problem I have with him is losing track of him and getting caught between his bullet patterns from multiple simultaneous directions.

#1: Mine flayer
His attack patterns are pretty diverse. None of them is particularly hard to dodge if you know what you’re doing, but they’re all very… disorienting. He’s got homing explosives, rebounding bullets, and really weird bullet ring trajectories. This is a boss that requires a clear head to win.

Chamber 4

#3: The kill pillars
I’ve never actually beaten them. I’ve only seen them twice, and I came pretty close the first time. (The second time I only had 1 health.)
That said, Their jammed ring shots are spooky, but not actually very hard to avoid. You get heavily punished for screwing up there, but it isn’t particularly hard to handle. Then they have their attack where they leap all over the place and spray bullets. The bullets aren’t that dangerous a pattern there.
I don’t know what happens when only one statue is left, so I may be misevaluating the fight.
The fact that if you have piercing bullets, you can hit more than one at once is a big deal, since they only have ~500 health apiece.

#2: The high priest.
If you have homing bullets, it helps a lot, since this thing is all over the place. The bullets (he?) fires aren’t incredibly densely packed, but they can come from so many different directions that it can be overwhelming, and the priest himself keeps moving around to unexpected locations. He also spends a lot of the fight totally invulnerable, or at least invisible, I think. Most of my wins from the 4th floor are off of this guy.

#1.5: Door lord.
I regard door lord as a 4th floor boss, though you can encounter him on the 2nd and 3rd floors as well. He has bullet patterns that are as weird as the mine flayer’s, and he couples that with a very fast laser with multiple variations, and they leave behind fire all over the place. He’s also a pretty small target as bosses go. I would not want to be a new player running into this thing on the earlier floors, but I don’t think he’s that much worse than the other 4th floor bosses.

#1: The wallmonger

Two words: perspective shift.
The view during this fight always screws up my dodging. Couple that with the sheer number of places from which varying patterns of bullets come out of the dang thing, and the way it can pinch off the middle of the arena with fire, make this my pick for hardest normal gungeon boss, and I find it harder than the dragun.

Chamber 1

#3 - bullet king, this guy's patterns are the easiest of the easiest, and the few times he actually gets dicy can be blown away with a blank. It's a bit ironic that the second hardest boss in this game is just a reskin of bullet king.

#2 - Trigger Twins
Nothing too difficult, but being at the wrong place at the wrong time can make some situations that put it above the bullet king.

#1 Gatling Gull
This boss's difficulty ranges from complete joke to mildly annoying depending on the floor layout. I've gotten used to him, but the gatling gun of his still throws me off from time to time, especially when there's a pit involved.

Chamber 2

#4 - Beholster, this thing is a guaranteed master round if you keep your distance and take care of the underlings before the lazer happens.

#3- Gorgun, her patterns are easy enough to avoid, but my poor plays forces me to use a blank from time to time.

#2 - Ammoconda, this thing used to be my worst enemy early on, but she's easy enough honestly.

#1 - Door Lord, prepare for a real scrap if you get the misfortune of finding this thing in the gungeon proper.

Chamber 3

#3 - Treadnaught, same thing as the beholster.

#2 - Cannonbalrog, I almost never get a master round fighting this thing, the attack where he's invulnerable is also really annoying.

#1 - Mine flayer, this guy still ends my runs, I still can't fully wrap my head around the patterns.

Chamber 4

#3 - Kill pillars, definitely the best way of getting a master round in the hollows.

#2 - Wallmonger, this one also caused me trouble at first, but he's not that hard once you get used to the patterns.

#1 - High priest, I'll probably never get a master round out of this cloaked gun. I also dislike it for having a similar invulnerable state as cannonbalrog.

yea, just fought wallmonger for the first time, and it was disorienting as hell. Hopefully it does get easier like you said
QsuSanOzk Jun 2, 2018 @ 2:21pm
Almost all the bosses are pretty much the same as difficulty goes and easy to kill without taking any damage except these guys:

Regular bosses:
Ammoconda
Mine Flayer
High Priest
Second phase of Lich

Special bosses:
Old king
Twin beholsters
Door lord
Grey Tea Latte Jun 2, 2018 @ 9:24pm
I'd agree with your list for the most part except for the wall monger. I see him as much easier than the high priest and on about the same level as the kill pillars, mainly due to the fact that pretty much every single one of his attacks can just be rolled through without any consequense, along with how the fight gets stupidly easy if you have fire immunity or flight.
seyluun Jun 4, 2018 @ 5:21am
Easy: the ones where the game actually gave you ammo
Hard: the ones you have to fight with your starter gun more than half into the game because you didn't see an ammo crate in two floors
PixelDemise Jun 5, 2018 @ 1:14pm
I keep seeing people put the Treadnaught as easy and the mind flayer as hard and I really don't understand it...

My list would be

Gatling Gull(so long as he isn't in the room with the two gaps in the floor)
Trigger Twins
Bullet King

GorGun
Door Lord(his rarity makes him seem harder than he is. attacks are easy to avoid if you can actually learn what is coming)
Beholster
Ammoconda

Canonballrog(Keep him off screen, and his bullet spread is so wide you can roll and still not reach a bullet. for his invis attack, run into a corner and roll into it when a wave comes for you)

Mine flayer(His bounce shot rebounds directly back, not at an angle. And his mines can be pushed away with certain guns, while the bells will never blow up if you kill them at the same time the real Mine flayer bell dies. very easy to win without damage if you know how each attack works)

Treadnaught(No matter how fast I move, where I run to, or how I dodge, he floods the room with so many bullets I barely have time to avoid attacks. Rarely beat him without 2 or more hearts of damage, unless I have blanks or Blashemy)

wallmonger(Stay close to him, most of his attacks will miss and the few that might hit are easily telegraphed)
Kill Pillars(their chasing attack can be annoying, but the rest are easily dodged, especially the wall to wall jump if you hide on the wall with them and then don't follow them to the other wall)
High Priest(I can never beat him flawlessly, his attacks are just too rapid fire)

the first area isn't too hard, while the second, third and fourth have the first and second bosses I listed as super duper easy, while the third is absurdly hard compared to the first two.

Chamber 1

3. King - Even his 'hard' version is no problem. (Perfect first try on the 'hard' version)

2. Twins - I know how they move.

1. Gull - I just don't like this boss and he is the hardest boss in Chamber 1 :(

Chamber 2

4. Gorgun - Easier than King, seriously!

3. Ammoconda - Just annoying, but not hard.

2. The Lord of the Doors! - You just have a hard time to learn his/her moves.

1. Beholster - Only one perfect on this guy, you can laugh, but I hate his minions, they ruin it.

Chamber 3

3. Treadnaught - Just don't stop running and keep your eyes out for some sneaky soldiers.

2. Cannonbalrog - Not harder than the Door Lord.

1. The Bell Squid - Hate this guy, but not a run killer.

Chamber 4

3. Kill Pillars - If I don't get them, I get the Wall.

2-1? High Priest - Only fought him 3 times in my ~75 hours + Unknown offline hours :(
(2 close wins and one lose)

1-2? Wall of Death - Was a run killer for a long time, but not anymore. I LEARNED my mistakes and I can say, this is number 2, but my lost rate is higher, then the High Priest.

Rank the gungeon floor bosses by difficulty
after 130h and more time spend in Enter the Gungeon.

Chamber 1

3. King
Slow movement and easy patterns, just don't get stuck in a corner.

2. Twins
Pretty easy but they can create deadly and unpredictable patterns together.

1. Gull
Sometimes i fell like his bullets spread completely random.

Chamber 2

3. Gorgun
Easiest boss in the game i think.

2. Beholster
Only the little guy he spawns can create trouble sometimes.

1. Ammoconda
Fast movement and bullets create the hardest chamber 2 boss.

Chamber 3

3. Mine flayer
As i started i hated this boss, but he becomes easier every time you play against him.

2. Cannonbalrog
Slow bullets and easy patterns.

1. Treadnaught
I just hate this guy.

Chamber 4

3. Kill Pillars
Easy and hard patterns combined.

2. Wall of Death
Same as The Bell Squid.

1. High Priest
Same as Treadnaught.

Secret Bosses

4. Blockner

3. Blobulord

2. The Lord of the Doors

1. Old King

Sounds like I'm one of the only people who has trouble not getting dinged by bullet king, so I guess I'll just have to work on that.
Ghaleon Jun 7, 2018 @ 7:25pm
I agree with the op mostly except bullet king is easier than gull since gull can be somewhat tricky in the room with water. I also think wallmonger is easier than priest once I learned to never ever dodge roll straight north for anything other than that giant block of 6 bullets wide or whatever it is. Because if you do, and it shoots the big block AS you do, you're gonna roll into it even if you were at the bottom of the screen and it didn't fire until after you started rolling.

I''ve mentioned how to deal with the king's flak shot several times on here. Basically you do NOT circle the room over and over because if you are above the king when he fires a flak, you're gonna need to blank...probably.

So you basically make sure you are never ever north of the king. Do that by doing figure 8s instead of circles.
starfish3000 Jun 10, 2018 @ 2:00am
Floor 1
3. Gatling Gull ; Kind of dependant on the map, but if you just dodge roll you'll perfect him every time.
1. (Tie) The twins and bullet king are equally hard for me. A lot of the time i'm confident I can strafe around a bullet so i take my eyesight off of it and end up taking a hit. Not very hard when I'm paying attention, but I get hit occasionally.

Floor 2
3. Gorgun ; Yeah, easiest boss.
2. Beholster ; Not hard to perfect if you have a gun which can take out the missiles quick.
1. Ammoconda ; I never ever get hit by the snake, always by the stupid circle things that spawn. Without them, Ammoconda is very easy.

Floor 3
3. Treadnaught ; Movement speed is slow, spawns in a room with places to hide behind, and just not hard in general. Perfect almost every time.
2. Cannonbalrog ; I used to be really good at perfecting him but I'm losing my touch... still though, he is not hard to perfect if you are capable of getting an accurate gun.
1. Mine Flayer ; Some phases aren't bad, like the bells, the mines, and the swirl bullet spread. But that one circular expanding bullet spread is unavoidable without a blank (especially on keyboard, ouch.)

Floor 4
3. The Wall ; Very easy perfect if you pay attention to your positioning and movement. Standard bullet spreads and no phases. Use your blanks if you need to, but it should be an extra heart.
2. Kill Pillars ; Kill Pillars are weird since I barely ever take bullet damage, but I take damage when rolling into them on their jammed bullet attack. It's unlucky lmaoo. Anways, they aren't bad if you're given 2 blanks and a damaging gun.
1. High Priest ; My least common boss, so I can't really say much about him. I don't know any of his patterns, I've only fought him like 3 times. That being said ; most of my runs I have 7 hearts by the 4th chamber, and he isn't THAT hard.

Special
Although he isn't really a boss, the purple dude that spawns at random can actually be kind of hard sometimes, harder than the gorgun lmaooo.

Door Lord is harder than any of these bosses.
Cyrodeus Jun 15, 2018 @ 9:19pm
Though I'd give my thought. Unfortunately I can't really talk about door lord because in 100+ hours to the best of my memory I've only fought him once (it didn't go well).

Keep of the Lead Lord

3. The King
While his attacks take up the most space they're also the most predictable. Kiting him in a U pattern of sorts decreases the risk of being cornered and blanks can handle slip ups. Basically the only boss I can routinely perfect with my starting gun (I said I had 100+ hours, not that I was good).

2. Twins
Previously considered the toughest on the first floor but no more. Main source of difficulty simply comes from the fact that there are 2 targets to keep track of plus summons. Most attacks are easy to avoid but akward overlaps can be troublesome. Personally I always go for Shades first since he is the only foe with a an attack that predicts your location and makes circle strafing harder.. Curious if any one goes for Smile first.

1. Gattling Gull
Pillars in the room, no problem. No pillars, a pattern for some reason simply can't grasp creates trouble. No pillars and two pits that decrease you ability to freely and easily maneuver, oh dear.

Gungeon Proper

3. Gorgun
Others have covered it pretty well. Most predictable boss on the floor. Only troublesome attack is the wail and creep can occasionally cause issues.

2. Beholster.
One the one hand he doesn't have a great variety of attacks and the laser is essentially just time to freely lay into him. On the otherhand simultaneous spread and targeted attacks can be tough and the summons are an issue, particularly if one gets caught behind him and you have no piercing guns. I usually just use my blanks to get through the first missile waves.

1. Ammocanda
Slippery snake jerk moves erratically, covers great chunks of the room with all kinds of bullets, turrets add bullets coming from unexpected directions, and kaliber help you if it eats and gets a buff. I'll walk in with an A tier gun and still go full panic mode.

Black Powder Mines
3. Mine Flayer
While it initially gave me a lot of trouble, this is the boss I happened to get the most often and I thus became pretty well practiced at it. Once I got myself to calm down with the various bullet spiral attacks they were easy to sidestep. Mine spawn attacks and the multi-bells are still annoying.

2. Cannon Balrog
I know this boss isn't that bad, but for some reason I just can't handle it. Its random spread and bouncing arcs get me more often than not.

1. Treadnought.
Do you have a gun with both good dps and quality range. No problem. If you don't you are in trouble. So long as you can kite it in a rectangle while also keeping your distance you should be fine, but the various special projectiles (particle the orb and homing missle) mess me up.

Hollow
3. Kill Pillars
Same case as Mine Flayer really. I've gotten this boss on the vast, VAST majority of my trips through the hollow. The statues that once terrified me are like old, murderous friends. The initial attack is panic inducing the first time because jammed bullets are scary, but it is very simple. The stomping waves are a lot less predictable and thus trickier. That is usually when I use my blanks. The final form is very easy once you get the rhythm but can be deadly before then.

2. Wall Monger
Sudden Scrolling is extremely disorientating. Attacks are initially overwhelming but most are simple enough with practice. Also, atleast it is very hard to miss this boss. I panic blank everytime, but I usually get through it.

1. High Priest.
If memory serves I have fought this boss thrice in all my hours. If I recall correctly, I think I beat everytime, but only after loosing the vast majority of my health, jeopardizing a good run. My opinion maybe could change if I fought it enough to actually be able to practice its attacks (attempting the boss rush is really going to fun, isn't it).

Thoughts on High Dragun
So many attacks. So many bullets. The knives can just die in a blackhole evertime. Second phase is shockingly easy once you get use to it.
