Is the Wolf item unlocked before doing the Hunter's past?
I was playing with the Convict, and i found the Wolf item...

It says "The player is able to obtain Wolf before killing The Hunter's past." on the wiki so probably.

I got it once in boss rush mode before i did hunter's past, were you doing boss rush mode?

Nope, i was just doing a normal run trying to get to the Convict's past.

It was from a chest.

I don't remember the color, but i think it was a black or a green one.

it should be green since it's a B grade item.

It should be; the wolf is not the item the hunter starts with, that's the dog iirc.

Yes but you get a unlock notification for wolf when you beat the hunter's past.
