Chest teleporter use?

What does it do exactly? I used it on two chests but they didnt change color.

Teleport the chest to the next floor and have a chace to upgrade it (And a chance to destroy it... its kind of RNG)

Teleporting means to transport across a distance instantly. Transforming or transmogrifying is what I think you’re thinking of

If chest reappears at beginning of next floor it wont upgrade. If it goes to boss doorstep it will. Can also become Mimic.
