Can you get the Lament Configurum during a rainbow run?

I need to get it to unlock something but it also seems like the kind of item that would be disabled in a rainbow run since it sorta breaks the rules of only being able to get items from rainbow chests, but I figured I'd ask because it'd save me a lot of trouble if it IS possible. I've reset a fair bit but never seen it.

its possible to get the shovel (and it still drops items), so i dont see why the lament would be off the table.

There's no such thing as a "disabled" item in Rainbow Runs; everything is on the table.

It can spawn in Rainbow Mode, but it's a B-quality item so it's spawn rate is lower (as rainbow chests primarily spawn A- and S-tier items).

After resetting rainbow mode for hours, I gave up and installed an item editor to spawn a lament. Bloody 9mm was the only item I needed to finish the ammonomicon, just couldn't find a damn lament.

During my resetting, I discovered that the start room rainbow mode chests can be glitched chests (though I did not fight the bosses, as I would expect them to have no drops). I had previously found a normal rainbow chest in rainbow mode (they give all the drops, even in rainbow mode).

I wonder if start room chests have a chance to be normal rainbow chests.

It's not for an achievement, it's just to unlock the last item I needed so that I could unlock the last gun (there's no achievement associated with this). Getting the lament is 100% luck and 0% skill, so all it did was save me the time it would've taken to reset repeatedly to get it.

Oh, huh. I went back and looked at the achievements on mine, and I was pretty surprised to see I've had this game for two and a half years. Guess I forgot what was in those! My mistake, carry on.

Lament Configurum isn't that rare in normal play though. It's a B-tier item, so magnificence won't restrict its spawn rate. It can also appear in Bello, Cursula, and Flynt's shops.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who was only missing the bloody 9mm (or come across a Glitched Rainbow Chest during reset grind). Also, the distribution for a B-tier item/weapon from a Rainbow Mode Chest is ~1/8; which you then have to take into account the fact that half of those drops will be weapons rather than items. Additionally if you happen to have more of the B-Tier items unlocked (which there are about 40 or so of) then you are even less likely to encounter the Lament Configurum. Kinda sucks.
