7th Pilot ( only his passive is good but if you are experienced you will always have enough money to do what you want and even fight the RR.
6th Convict for the very same reasons you stated on your post.
5th Hunter cause she is just meh.
4th Soldier since his start weapon is awesome and starts with armor.
3rd Paradox he is really good but the 2 that follow are simply better.
2nd Bullet because of his OP start weapon and no damage if you come in contact with enemies
1st Gunslinger since he has an amazing start weapon and the most OP passive in the game
It is a five round clip. The only good thing is that it can be spammed really fast, but the hunters can spam hers, it does more damage, goes further and got an extra bullet. The marine gun is also the most comfy, with a 10 round clip, great accuracy and good reload. She beats the pilot but only because his gun is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. T
Hmm, I can't see the pilot as the worst as all of his stuff is useful through the game. Extra ammo means your guns will get more use. An added inventory slot means you can have two invicibility items, which is busted. He can also pick locks if you have no key. He got constant utility to make the best of what he got, so I cannot see him being worse than convict.
Edit: His passive item is really good though, even if you don't use his lockpicks at all it makes it really easy to buy keys and the like.
High damage, fast fire rate, fast reload. Only downside is accuracy is bad, but that's just fine for the upsides.
I remember when I thought the Budget Revolver was especially terrible, back when I didn’t know that you could mash the fire button to shoot faster. It certainly made the item more appealing, and I started using it, but I’m still not a huge fan of the very low clip size and spread. It’s barely any better than the Sawed Off, in that regard.
But she’s still my favorite character.
I like her the least of the 4, but at most she's not too far behind.
Her Budget Revolver has the highest DPS. The Sawed-Off is awesome (well beyond the first chamber), and her Molotov can destroy a good number of bosses.
I guess it just depends on your play-style.
I find it funny that nearly every time I see people saying the Pilot is the worst, it also seems they were hoping to rely on his lockpick, which fail for me way more than 50% of time. Pretty much 100% on locked doors I swear. He's my default choice though. I almost always find enough keys for chests. I love his extra ammo and items slot, though it's usually when I play another character that I'll actually find two active items I end up having to choose between.
Better sidearms gets really sticky to the point that using improvement in D/C weapons feels unwieldy and overall worse.
