Craziest rainbow run

Rainbow run is kinda OP, letting you potentially hand pick a whole inventory of high tier items... so let's post about our most OP runs that never would have been possible in normal mode.

For me my very first rainbow run was one that I probably won't top. I got the BSG, ancient hero's bandanna and omega bullets (which make single-shot weapons like the BSG do double damage). With Yellow Chamber for extra health+stats. So I could one-shot the entire inhabitants of every room and not run out of ammo, and on a direct hit I dealt ~230 damage per shot to bosses. Add in a Ticket for extra DPS and a bullet sponge against bosses, and a Strafe Gun for anytime I couldn't wait on the chargeup (plus a minor synergy with BSG).

I had 23 blanks and 5 armors in the bullet's past due to rainbow run + clone + armor syth. I had blank bullets and the owl so I really almost never needed to blank.


But my most OP rainbow run was during challenge mode and the only requirement are...... Gunslinger + blackhole gun. You will flawless every boss and clear every room with ease. Most bosses can't even do anything as the black hole eats all enemy bullets. And if you get knife shield your even more untouchable during the run. Throw in blue scarf and your blackhole gun has like 120 shots. Which you shouldn't be able to use up. The gun will negate almost every challenge a room can throw at you.

I have had a lot of crazy op runs due to clone + tons upon tons of items, but that instant win combo And flawless every boss only requires the blackhole gun as slinger. The tentacle synergy slinger gets for free fixes the gun's damage problem vs bosses completely.

I've also had duct tape + makeshift cannon + the dragun fire gun. Which is just 1-2 shot ko on almost every boss. Though makeshift + blue scarf = 4 shots as well and thats free boss flawlesses.

I tried Rainbow mode the other day and one of my choices on the first floor was the rat’s cheese gun.

None of the other items I picked up later really mattered other than maybe Metronome and Potion of Lead Skin.

I mainly plan to use Rainbow Mode to cheese Winchester’s game for his unlock (restart run until I get something that lets me fly).

It seems odd to me that this mode costs nothing to play, because it is very easy to cheese it via quick restarts.

Thats the easy way to get the 5 master rounds in one go achivement. But two clones... idk how that one happened. I ain't ever seen 2 clones in one run.
