"Weapons button"? for quick switching between favourites

Hey, so I only JUST figured out that I can pull up the gun menu and assign favourites (have almost been playing for a year, how embarrassing) and all the threads I've read about this say to tap the "weapons button" to switch between favourites. What is that? Am I dumb? I can't figure out what the heck is meant by the "weapons button". Thanks in advance :D

KB+M or controller? I think it's CTRL by default for KB+M

It's the same button that you hold down to bring up the weapon select menu. If you just tap it instead, it hotswaps between your last used gun.

This but you could also use scroll wheel to switch
