and then again on the switch, just to help the great Devs of Enter the Gungeon. :D
It obviously isn't the same thing though. Switch is a console and thus has the perk of being more immediate and I would assume that the portable mode of Switch would be more practical to carry around than a laptop (also, maybe the OP doesn't have one).
Also the "on your couch and on the go" comment was more hinted at the hybrid nature of the console, not to say that you can't play "on the couch" with the PC. Then again, not even this possibility is to be taken for granted. I for one couldn't play PC from my couch because the couch is in a different room.
First, I don't know why you're speaking to me like I don't know what I'm talking about/what a PC for gaming is.
Secondly, I have both a PC and a PS4. Most of the time I play on PC, which is almost always on during the day for various reasons. If both happen to be turned off, it's quicker to turn on the PS4 and just play. I reckon that it would be the same with a Switch. There are also other reason why console is "more immediate" than PC, but since I suppose they're well known reasons and the only ones (except for exclusive games) that drive a person to choose a console over the PC in spite of the latter's customizability, greater power, modding capabilities and so on, I don't believe it's necessary or pertinent to the topic to explain them.
Third, I'm done answering here, since the OP wanted just a simple opinion and (likely) not to sit through a "console vs PC" ordeal.
I bought it on SW, mainly because, unless there are massive performance gaps between it and PC, there's only upside, e.g. portability (those of you suggesting a notebook PC is as easily accesible and portable need to dial down your inner master race*).
The only real loss is NIntendo's asinine refusal to just get w/ the program and support some sort of achievement system, which has now reached the level of pure belligerence. That, and in the case of EtG, there are some frame rate issues, when docked, that *need* to be ironed out.
(And the portability really is huge: I can sit at an airport, doctor's office, mechanic, etc., places I'd never, ever, consider pulling out a real estate-eating notebook+gamepad/mouse.)
*The irony being these same people scream "POTATO!" at anyone that actually dares to game on a notebook.
so it was kinda unanimous or how u say it.
how u explained it.
