But I understand how you feel. Chamber 4 bosses are kind of like walls especially if you haven't practiced them. Kill Pillars were my 1st Chamber 4 boss and they immediately destroyed me.
But compared to High Priest, KP and WM's patterns are much predictable.
their circling attack (the one that fills the room with cursed bullets) is easy. just stay in one of the four corners (try to get as close to the cursed bullets, to give you more room whenever you dodge), then dodge roll either horizontally or vertically at the right time, then go back to your corner, repeat.
their jumping crap attack is the most annoying. or maybe because ive never really studied the pattern of their bullets. But the least i can tell you is dont get yourself cornered at the walls of the room. and keep your distance.
the "final form" is simple. let the pillar hover above you, then walk/dodge away. dont spam your dodge. it makes it more difficult to maneuver and evade when he stomps. save the dodge roll for the bullets created by the stomp.
well, i hope this could help. it's been a while since i last played EtG but this is the most i can remember about the kill pillars. good luck :D
and will repeat this after every second or two.
You'll know it when you see it.
These are helpful tips. Practice long enough and they won't be a problem anymore.
For me personally, they are BY FAR the easiest level 4 boss, and also easier than the Mine Flayer which is a level 3 boss. Wallmonger and High Priest have denser patterns I believe, while most of the KP's attacks look flashy but are easy enough to dodge, the only tricky one being the jump that chases you because that can spawn bullets really close to you or more difficult to predict.
