Zooming out?

I'm sick of being hit from offscreen enemies. I've seen plenty of youtubers playing in such a way that they can see nearly the entire (large) room. How do I zoom out like this?

Such thing can be achieved vanilla though. In Fprge, when you get to the Dragun, walk a bit through the corridor (screen will zoom out). Right before entering the boss room, teleport anywhere in the floor.
