2. Pilot
3. Marine
4. Convict and Huntress
5. Robot
hey, you know what i wrote? I said the best starting weapon BETWEEN 4 STARTING CHARACTER
I know the robot's weapon is better...
actually, he has the worst starting weapon out of all the characters.
But I think Marine/pilot tie, next up is huntress, then convict. because:
1: Marine and pilot have advantages that benefit EVERY gun, and lets face it, your starting gun matters alot less by chamber 3+, and if chambers 1 to 2 matter, then you're probably a little too new to really have an opinion on a tier list.
2: Huntress' dog is never bad, but RNG can make it never good too. It's just rng. Without it, she's basically nothing but a character with a average starting loadout.
3: Convict has absolutely nothing that has any long term benefit, she sucks. Not only that, but while her starting pistol has the most dps on paper, lets be honest here. The marine's is probably more efficient. Because while the convict can do more dps when you mash the fire button at everything. how often do you fire 2-3 more bullets than you need to at your target because you're still mashing before the killing bullet lands on your target? That's also nothing to say about it's accuracy, which is decent but not as good as the marine's. So I can argue that the Marine's gun actually performs better than it does on paper due to these things that affect the marine less so than it would on a theoretical paper dps breakdown.

I'd rather have a dog do nothing but sniff up one key the entire run than that thing.
The dps is higher for the convict's , the marine weapon is 13 dps, the convict is 18 dps... ehm...
