what are the most likely secret room locations?

i know that they are likely to be at chest rooms and at the elevetor to the next chamber, but where else? also you can use your starter pistol to find secret rooms right?

Nope you have to use guns you find starter weapons don't help.

They can be anywhere but chest rooms are best place and black in the shop because SOMETIMES it can be in their

Sometimes secret rooms can be in the shops.
Cant be in boss rooms.
Losing armor can open secret room.

How rare chest of truth is?
And what's the bloody chance to get key from blanks? (Lost armor, found key in secret)

Treasures Room.
Chamber Exit Elevator Room.
Regular Guaranteed Shop.
Random NPC Shops, or maybe just any random NPC room.

Aside from those places, they can be anywhere there is room for one. Also, it is possible for one not to spawn at all and very rarely for two to spawn; not including the very common Abbey double spawn.

Personally, I don't bother looking for them if they don't show up in any of the first four room types.

I see it pretty much every time I don't screw up getting to the Abbey, alongside a second secret room as well.

Eh, game is really random with what it puts in secret rooms, and aren't always worth looking for outside of checking the usual places.

Don't worry yourself if you can't find a secret room on a floor. Sometimes the secret room is a bad trade anyway. Blank for just half a heart or brown chest with pea shooter or 5 coins isn't exactly worth it.

Secret rooms can show up anywhere except entrance room and boss room. People only find them more in chest rooms because they actually remember to check there. Secret rooms can show up anywhere a room could connect to another.

Some chambers don't have secret rooms. They just don't. It's pretty rare though.
