is there any way of getting rid of the reaper that chases you around when your curse is high?

I'm pretty sure that if your curse is at 10 or above, the cleanse shrine doesn't do anything. I could be wrong though.

yup, if you have 10+ curse the cleanse shrine does not work:

Dunno what you folks are talking about, cleanse shrine works if you are past 10 curse.

Always has for me.

Reaper will stick around untill next floor, tho.

the wiki says otherwise.
Perhaps it was changed with the supply drop.
perhaps you did not have 10 curse.
Or it was a bug.
who knows.

Even if the curse shrine doesn't let you use it, you could just drop a cursed item to bring you down to 9, then use it, then pick your item up.

Cleanse shrine works. Dropping curse doesn't immediately get rid of him until next floor.

yep, you pay 65 coins and get nothing.
Its like the shrine says: no one can help you. ;)
perhaps you droped a cursed item/weapon or something, but if your course level is 10+ the shrine will do nothing (except of taking your cash ^^).

Cleanse shine can't help, get rid of cursed objects or deal with it think you have to have at the most 8 curse to cleanse

also yeah he doesn't leave even if u reduce the curse :/
