Worst Enemies in the Game?
When you keep playing, you learn tactics to avoid each enemy's attacks, but then there are enemies that you still seem to reliably take damage on. What enemies annoy you?

Here are my top 3:

#3 - Lead Maiden: Tolerable in large rooms, but they're the worst in smaller ones or when partnered up with a Gunsinger.

#2 - Lore Gunjurer: Their "rogue" summons are cheap, because depending on where they teleport to, you'll end up running straight into them and you have virtually no time to respond to its attack.

#1 - Coaler: A regular coaler is kinda cheap if you're close to it while it ignites, but I had a run in a jammed coaler and this is why I'm putting it at #1. One of these single handedly killed me while I had like 4 something hearts. It was fast and hard to hit, fired faster than normal, wouldn't back off, had a lot of health and did 1 full heart per hit.

Shotgrubs are an honorable mention only because they're easy to kill at this late in the game. I usually end up rolling towards them when they fire. The bullets that hit the walls way behind me usually pose little threat.

The Lead Maidens in Bullet Hell are still 5 times as worse.

Yeah, there is that one room which I consider to be the worst room in the game. If you know which one I'm talking about.

I can think of a couple. The one with the checkerboard pits?

I think I remember fighting 2 at once as well in a different room.

I hate those invincible moving blocks in both the forge and bullet hell... Iron maidens are also up there.

Then there are those gold sheleton summoning lich dudes who aren't bad on their own, but if you get them in a massive room with little cover AND one of those other wizards that speed everyone else up AND you get challenge mode so everyone is invincible except the sheleton summoner lich dude who runs away from you faster than a freakin' lightning bolt cuz h e has the speed-up buff. ugh.

The blocks in the forge. Why? Because they piss me off; nothing irritates me more than getting hit by something I didn't even know was there. At least the blocks in Bullet Hell leave a trail of fire; they're much easier to react to if you don't immediately see them coming at you.

Hollowpoints (the ghosts) because they are everywhere in Double D20 cursed mode.

As it turns out, they make excellent flanks and surround me easily, not to mention that they make boss fights absolutely horrible. :flowey:

Gun Cultist is probably my most disliked enemy, dodge-rolling little f**kers. By themselves they are grand but they usually accompanied by either a big enemy or loads of other smaller enemies.

After that, perhaps the bullat. Why?
Sometimes they fire once and sometimes they fire three f**king times and there is no way to tell beforehand which it will be. You only get a very brief audio notification on the repeated shots which is fine by itself but when there are other bullats it is easy to miss.

Honourable mentions go to Lore Gunjuror and Coalers though.

I agree almost 100% with your list OP, but I also hate muzzle flare expecially in crowded rooms

the hammer, I despise the hammer, it hurts my soul.

Probably died hundreds of times to these enemies alone-
#3-Flesh Cube
#2-Gun Cultist
#1-The godamn Lead Maiden

Honourable mention definently goes to Shotgrub, those things make my run literal hell, but they are usually on their own and don't really have enough health to make a true difference in the run.

The freakin' hollow points with their "teleport in front of you while you are busy with everything else" and their amazing flanking/surrounding capabilities, they are everywhere in double d20 and the bane of my existence. Get ghost modifier against boss with adds, you're in for a good time.

Love 'em. :flowey:
