How rare is the Demon Door?

Alright, so by now I have 50+ hours into this game and I'm getting close to getting all the achievements. My problem is, in all my time playing so far, I haven't encountered the Demon Door even once. Is this normal? It'll be frustrating if I can't get the black market achievement by the time the other ones are complete...

I've encountered maybe 4 times in my entirety of playing this game (I have almost 100 hours.)

That said, they seem to consistantly appear on the 4th floor.

I found like 4 as well... in like 4 games in a row after about 20-30 hours of played time...haven't seen one since.

60 hours of play time and encountered it only twice.

Get some curse. I've fought him ~10 times in 400+ runs though not every run made it very far.

nonono, what he means is the Demon Face which is the entrance to the market:

so, no boss, just a way to get things cheap and play a little winchester game.

Oh that. My bad. In general, i've seen it more often than the Door Lord.

I've found the more curse you have the higher chance you get the door. When you start a run activate the statue at spawn which gives you 9 curse (if have killed the character's past) and just do runs with it. Shouldn't take too long if you can go at a moderate speed.

I've seen it plenty, even had it appear twice in 1 playthrough the other day

Thanks, I'll try that! I usually try to avoid curse so that might be part of the reason why I haven't encountered it yet.

He's right, I don't care much about the Door Lord, I just want the achievement for the Demon Face ;) Not sure if I've encountered the Door Lord yet, but I think I have, cause I'm pretty sure I have every boss listed in the ammomicon.

I got it once at the 50 hour mark, on floor 4. It probably saved my floundering Robot run.
