Probably the best possible non-gun item you can get from a blue / green chest. Fully heals you, ups hearts by one, and increases Coolness (luck) by 2.

yeah oranges are great. one of the best, but I dunno about THE best. I get equally excited if I get a utility belt early game so that I can actually make use of the 2 useable items, and the extra ammo is always welcome.

walk in to the orange and if i remember correctly you will get am extra heart container

You have to press E to pick it up and I believe you can utilize the item twice (first time heals you, second time gives a heart container).

I did, in this case I primarily used it because the white highlight outline wouldn't appear when I walked over it so I wasn't sure if it was a troll item I couldn't pick up or what.

Any item that can be picked up will have a white outline to it when I stand over it, why would I assume that an item without the outline can be picked up with the E key?
