Do I suck with the bullet or something?

I finally unlocked bullet, and I died to the first boss 3 times now. Bear in mind I've cleared lich on my 36th game or so, and got lead god before I even unlocked the past, and not because of some op item...aside from stinger missles, which are great yeah but they aren't really carry you on their own good without alpha, omega, dual shot, etc..which I didn't have.

Now I got bullet and I just don't know what the deal is with the bosses. I mean I noticed they have like 1 or 2 attacks where they always pause for a second after shooting, so I charge in, take a swipe, and run away, but that takes so long that I goof up a few times during the effing 20 m inute boss fight like that. Am I missing something here?

It's especially funny because everyone was ranting about the bullets past how it's a homage to link to the past and how link to the past's bosses were even harder and I'm scratching my head thinking lotp is one of the easiest games I've ever played and despite not playing it for like 10 years, I'm pretty sure I can beat every damn boss in it without taking a hit in my sleep...and I'm not the only one. EVERYONE I personally know think that game is easy as fuu.

Yet here I am getting owned by floor 1 bosses as the bullet. what?

Incidentally I'm never at full health with them because I'm new at the bullet and I'm still making errors that I'll learn not to like to book it every time I kill a shotgunkin because of their self destruct, which I normally don't do because I normally don't kill them in melee range =P.

Just stay with full hearts. Your sword destroys bullets and at full hearts shoots a projectile

Then don't kill things at melee range. The projectile that the sword shoots is actually quite potent in early levels. When you finally get other guns just use them if you don't like the Sword. The Sword is amazing though, and I use mine at melee range because a swing + a projectile will one shot most enemies up till Floor 3 or so.

In boss fights you should just stick to shooting projectiles at range though - that's what I do as well. It's pretty good and given that you can clear out bullets by swiping it's quite likely you won't get hit so you'll get that HP upgrade as well.

yeah thanks. I learned to kill the boss before exploring the floor if my health is full so Ic an shoot and the bosses are easy that way. My first few attempts Id idn't do that and I didn't have full health because i was being reckless because 'wheee I have a sword!' and even using the tackle attack thing too.
