In the Abbey you get unlocks for defeating the boss.
Other than that It's really only good for getting more items, money, and boosting your kill number. Not a ton of reason to revisit it, but it's fun.
The Oubliette, on the other hand, can be useful, since you get another shop, two chests and the boss is easy.
Each floor grants 1 key at least - if you didnt pick one through dropps, store will sell it and you get more money per floor than you need for key. Plus theres guranteed item from boss. So if you didnt get at least double green chest in first floor, it'd be a worthy roll to use those 2 keys to go for oubliette.
Plus, unlike other floors, you get 3 chests, one of which is always unlocked in a secret room.
The Abbey tho is really hard, especially the boss. Do not go ther if you're not having an OverPowered Run
Maybe that will come in a future update. For now at least, just extra sweg.
And yes, chamber 6 is precisely the reason you want to do secret floors.
The bonus item for killing the old king the first time is one of those high tier items that's only B rank to boot (or was it A rank, I think B).
