My Improvised Walkthrough:

Encounter 1 - Chaingunners:
Wait until they stop attacking with their chains and beat them to death with your sword.

Encounter 2 - AGUNIM:
Dodge his attacks. Once he fires a purple orb at you, hit it back with your sword. You'll need to do this three times to defeat him, and during the last two he'll volley with you for a bit.

Encounter 3 - Cannon:
First of all, be wary of the trapdoors on the map. Occasionally the boss will open them and you could fall and take damage. Dodge Cannon's attacks (just run away from the bats), and hit him whenever you have a decent opportunity to. Use your blanks when necessary. Usually, when he's firing his revolver you'll have a few seconds to smack him before his spiral of bullets spread out.

I hope this helped. If you need more specific details, just ask. :etgpilot:

oh wtf

So THAT'S how you damage AGUNIM. I spent like 5 minutes trying to figure out how before I just took too much hits and died.

I absolutely loved the bullets past.
(Btw just got b-skins for both the bullet and the robot)
(Bullet-2nd Try)
(Robot-1st Try) (Now I have every B-skin)
The boss fight with cannon is really fun btw.

This past is so awsome ! As a big fan of The Legend of Zelda, I lost my words when I played it ! A Link to the Past was my first Zelda game, if you played it you would instanly know the 2 bosses' pattern and how to kill them :)
Kind of pissed me off actually because i wasn't expecting to suddenly have to puzzle out how to damage a boss in a game that previously didn't require it. Now I have to do it again.

Read carefully what the old man say to you at the beginning, that helps :)

Okay, this is actually too dumb. How the hell are you supposed to damage the Cannon in melee distance lol

I've lost to this guy like 4 times now. Even had Galactic Medal of Valor. Some of these attacks last far too long and there's barely an opening without risk of taking damage.

Usually the safest time to attack is when he creates a circle of bullets around him. He'll be within striking range until the bullets move outward, but you can roll past them and hit the boss some more when that happens. I beat him in two tries, but that's mainly because I observed his patterns from a safe distance before deciding on a plan of attack the second time around. My co-op partner died pretty quickly though. :yellowwizard:
He isn't hard but he is very tedious. I lost because I got impatient trying to whittle down his mountain of health. You can get two or three swings in on occasion then have to wait forever for him to do something you can punish. Not very fun. Least fun of all the pasts imo because of how strongly it works against the core game mechanics. I'd rather him have harder patterns and be allowed to shoot, rather than be forced to just wait prolonged periods so I can get a few hits in, back off, and repeat the process until he FINALLY dies.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE Bullet's past!

Nostalgia + my favorite fight in any video game ever! And my favorite LoZ game for a long period.

Thank you devs! :spazdreaming:

Also to defeat Cannon you have to be very patient and catch him on cycles where it's safe to hit him. His attacks are very easy to dodge, the fight is just a patience check.

Trust me, you can still damage the boss without getting injured no matter what attack he's using, and his health is nowhere as near as tremendous as the Old King for instance.
It's definitely frustrating at first though, but after playing through it a few times I started to have more fun with it. :etgpilot:

I still need my 5th caped superbullet spawn qq. What's worse is the game keeps trolling me by giving me corsairs, ss-whatever, supercharger, brickshooter like every game and i'm too scared to even use them for fear of a caped bullet spawning and getting killed by bulelts bouncing around that I didn't shoot before seeing em.

Oh, I see. The best way to damage this guy is to wait until all of his attacks expand outward, then dive in and melee him.
