The Hammers are a pain but there is only 2-3 rooms where they follow you around. In the other rooms they are static. Best strategy i have found for them is to dodgeroll away when they lock on then move slightly up or down to weave between the bullet spray.
Enemies are mostly the same except for spectral gun nut and a the revolvenant.
For Spectral Gun Nut, stay in cover till he shoots and then lay into them. Don't stray too far from cover till they are dead.
For Revolvenant, when he throws the arm, try to be behind cover and shoot him from a distance. Don't move to position along the arm as the bullets coming off it are kind of unpredictable in direction. If he uses his other attack, either blank or time your dodges for when the balls move in.
As with other floors, keep powerful weapons for the boss if possible. Having a high DPS weapon for the boss is useful for his last phase (Alien Engine is a winner for the last phase). The bosses attacks will wreck you until you learn the patterns. Staying in a corner and dodgerolling for certain attacks is an ok starting strategy until you learn the patterns.
1.Common knowledge, but stack up the master rounds, the full heart buff is neccesary for any good runs.
2.Be willing to Waste time/runs practicing/expirimenting with bosses/enemies. Meaning that if something is unfammiliar and challenging don't just ignore it and try and push through, give your best effort to get to know it and learn how to dodge it's attacks
3.Grind for the elevators. Constantly bend runs to get the elevator to any floor. this alows you tto practice independently so when you go through for a legitimate run you will have good knowedge of how to kill.
Good luck and best success forward
1. Watch out for the big hammer enemies - they are indestructible and will keep firing off their attack until you kill all enemies in the room. However, there is one room where the hammer is the only enemy and it will track you as you make your way across the pitfalls. Either dodge roll towards him the moment he strikes and once more to put out the fire, or try going in and out of the room several times - it can despawn him, but it doesn't always work.
2. There are moving floors in a few rooms, coupled with some unpleasant enemies. Don't let it get you off guard.
3. Some Ashen Bullet Kin and Shotgun Kin don't spawn in normally. They can stand motionless and pretend to be just breakables, and then suddenly start moving and get a few shots in. In my case, it's always behind my back. Watch out for that.
4. Some rooms will have Jammed enemies by default, regardless of your built-up curse.
5. The 5th Chamber always has the exact same boss. So if you don't defeat him the first few times, you'll always end up learning and dodging the same attacks and, with some skill, eventually beat him.
That's about all that I can think of, so here's hoping that it'll help you. Good luck.
Tip 2: Don't get shot by the badguys.
Follow these and you'll be well on your way to success. Unless you fall in lava. Or stand too long in poison. So don't do those things, either.
