basically what happens is your curse level gets set to nine, which gives you a 25% at getting jammed enemys and 30% for jammed bosses. jammed enemies glow red, move faster, attack faster, have faster bullet travel speed, do a full heart of damage (accept armor, they only take away one piece) and a ridiculous health multiplier and you guessed it, the game will generaly get alot harder. also, with a curse level of nine you are not allowed to pick up any more cursed items, otherwise you will spawn an immortal enemy at which point, to keep things short, you can already say gg. However, jammed enemies also guarantee a money drop when you kill them, unless you take damage which decreases your health, if you lose armor you still can get money.
doing cursed runs will therefore give you ALOT more money, if you're lucky enough (or unlucky, depending on how you see it) you can get +100 coins afte rthe first floor.
I have not beaten the game with anyone yet or even assembled the gun. That's still a work in progress. I can do levels 1 and 2 very reliably now, so I figured on going ahead and unlocking chamber 3's shortcut. Once that's done, it'll be back to "gitting gud" for chambers 3 onwards.
EDIT: Oh my God this is hilarious; I end up on a 2 1/2 hour phone-call with my mother, playing this in the back-ground over and over as we chat. And as luck would have it, I end up at 6 keys, 182 casings when I reach Chamber 4 withiyt the Sell Creep popping up even once.
they are practically speaking more harmful then starting from the first floor, you will have only your standard 3 hearts and your starting pistol (note that on the third shortcut you get one free weapon, but that is completely RNG controlled and just one weapon compared to potentialy six) and with their damage modifiers, meaning that your startergun will be actually less effective then the pea shooter.
it's more saver to git gud, kill a past and get shortcuts with a method that requires the least RNG possible for the unlock (cursed runs) and as a learning tool, shortcuts leave you undergeared on the floor you are currently on, which you have to reach anyway to get the shortcut for said floor, plus potential damage taken and you can't even take that much damage because, as said, three hearts. everything combined will leave you on the next floor, assuming you get through alive, a breathing puddle of a gungeoneer on a floor that is even less unforgiving then the last.
tl;dr: you'll be dying over and over again, practising a floor without the standards you have on normal runs, ignoring any unlockingprogress, like npc rescue or h-credits, in favor of getting better at one selected floor instead of the game in general.
just do normal runs. less energy, more learned, more potentially unlocked, higher succesrate at finishing floors, etc.
