Qualifed directly in the WBC without qualification-round in custom game at the start

In the custom game I selected several leagues and the World Baseball Classic to play with the german national team, who is in the second qualifier group at the start.

When I proceed through the first days, I get the message that the wbc starts directly and Germany is in the group phase without the qualifiers before.

This happens everytime, no matter how many leagues you select for the mode.

This is awkward, because the real WBC starts a year later and I start in the year 2025.

In Standard Mode, everything is okay.

I've fought with this for like an hour and a half. It seems like Custom Game and adding WBC does not give the same functionality as a Standard start. The game just doesn't seem to allow the actual tournament to start in 2026 and the qualifiers in 2025.

I eventually gave up and just deleted WBC from my custom game set up. It's also crazy at the difference in leagues going from Standard to Custom and loading in the default template. I'd much rather have all of the extra leagues than a once-in-4-year tournament.

Yes, I wanted to play the default template too.

I tried to put the WBC in the year 2028 to avoid this problem. But it didn't work either.

I hope they fix this problem soon.

But is it possible to create an alternative world tournament with the creator instead?

And a dumb question: I created two real leagues from Germany for the game and I think to release them here and in the forums of OOTP. Do you think that ficitional leagues, who are based from real leagues, are accepted from the OOTP-Community?
