For a while you could get the old OOTP 6 (from 2005) from the Sports Interactive website, a long time after it was obsolete. But even that ended years ago.
They insist that you spend full retail price each year, for a game that is getting worse each year. I haven't purchased their latest garbage for several years now.
Swisspike, you haven't bought it in years and know the state of the game? Are you playing a pirate copy? Otherwise how would you know?
You keep grinding that axe.
I have about 15 thousand posts on their forum boards, which I joined back in 2002. I know more about this game than virtually anyone else in the world. Thanks for playing.
I was there in 2002 also. Unlike you I haven't skipped any versions meaning I know more about the game than you. : )
Not one chance in hell. Seriously. Do you really think that they have many any significant changes to the engine? Do you even think that they know HOW to make changes to the engine? Their mission is to generate as much revenue as then can, as cheaply as they can.
If you have followed this game, as closely as I have, you would have noted that every. single. version. gets. worse. reviews. every. single. year.
For a reason, and you're OK with that??? You're just another useful tool for the current owners of the franchise.
My work here is done...and you're blocked.
